Graduate program aimed at professionals who wish to have a broad knowledge within Industrial engineering in areas such as: decision-making management, data analysis, system optimization, process management, and industrial safety, which will allow them to solve problems of all kinds, in order to improve the profitability of organizations. In turn, the professional will be able to focus on quality or supply chain management, which has broad applicability both in manufacturing and in services.
The applicant profile that will be preferably chosen to enter the Master's is that of professionals who have a Bachelor's degree and fundamental knowledge in the fields of: Information and Communication Technology (ICT); Related technical engineering; Industry and Production; Construction and Civil Engineering; Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; Biotechnology; Renewable Natural Resources; Physical sciences; Physics; Mathematics and statistics; and Transportation Service. These titles must be duly registered in the SENESCYT system.
Applicants are recommended to have certified work experience of at least two years in the manufacturing and / or service sector. Being disciplined and honest professionals with skills to work independently and in groups to meet the high academic demands of the program. Additionally, the applicant must have the maturity and emotional stability to meet the expectations of the institution, professors and tutors.
Future graduates will have job options as area managers in: quality, continuous improvement, production, logistics, purchasing, supply chain, warehouse managers, consultants, quality assistants, productivity executives, development analysts, process analysts, quality of service analysts, among others; thus meeting the needs that exist at the national and local levels.
Ecuador's only Master's in Industrial Engineering with 2 majors:

Bachelor's degree issued by an accredited university in the country and registered in the SENESCYT, in: Information and Communication Technology (ICT); Related technical engineering; Industry and Production; Construction and Civil Engineering; Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; Biotechnology; Renewable Natural Resources; Physical sciences; Physical; Mathematics and statistics; and Transportation Service. In the case of Bachelor's degrees obtained abroad, they must be apostilled or legalized by Consular means. The University will verify that the degree corresponds to the third level, in accordance with the current Academic Regime Regulations.
Demonstrate proficiency in the English language equivalent to B1 of the Common European Framework.

Work experience. It is recommended that candidates have at least 2 years of work experience; proof of this will be provided during the selection process by means of: CV, labor certificate, email, and conventional number of employers in order to validate the information.
Two (2) letters of recommendation; one (1) of them must be professional.

The experience through my studies in the Master's in Industrial Engineering has been very enriching, not only because it has allowed me to deepen my knowledge acquired in the Mechanical Engineering career for data analysis and process management, but it has also provided me with the criteria and adequate tools for making the right decisions. The multiple technological resources provided by this program have allowed me to experience the scope of the methodologies learned in class and have made my knowledge not only part of the theory, but also become a useful instrument in my professional development.

Starting my fourth level studies at USFQ has allowed me to reach a high level of motivation that has driven me to continuous growth, both personally and professionally.
